I wanted a model a little bigger, so I scaled to 160%.
But you can't scale an M5 thread to M8(160%), but I wanted the hole in the other parts to be able to be put on an M8 threaded rod, so I changed the foot and the top.
I put a solid cylinder in where the existing thread was and made a new cylinder for an M8 thread.(Fusion 360)
However, it requires a little manipulation to not be too tight, so I used an M9 thread in Fusion 360 and made an offset so it was a little smaller.
Now the two files I have attached fit an 8mm purchased steel threaded rod.
All other files from "soldevilla" are simply scaled 160% = approx. 30cm
