I couldn't find a small enough releasing mechanism for RC glider towing or dropping stuff, so I designed and printed this one. Works well, won't load the servo when loaded.
Printing it on the thinner side requires the least supports I've found.
NOTE, if your remote control can't change the weight of a channel then this won't work! The servo must be limited to move only enough to lock or release the pin, otherwise it will try to force through the sleeve (and burn out trying...).
