Tire Tread Depth Gauge

This is a tire tread depth gauge you can use to test your tires to see if they need replacement.

If you live where it is wet you are good until your tires are at 4/32" or 3mm of tread depth. If you live where it snows it is recommended to change your tires at 5/32" or 5mm of tread depth. If your tires are at 2/32" or 1.6mm they are legally bald and should be replaced immediately.

UPDATE 3/2/19 - Added a new version with a tab to put on a key ring. Also increased the thickness with the new version. The old version is version 3 and the new version is version 4.
