I designed this housing to protect the probe from coolant and chips.
It attaches to the machine magnetically and will require the purchase of magnets with holes in the middle to fit a 10-32 bolt.
A .125" thick square nut is used to fasten the 10-32 bolt.
A 3/32" diameter metal rod 1.75" long is required for the hinge and is a tight fit so that when you open the cover it stays open by friction allowing single hand use to load and unload the probe.
This fits the probe perfectly and keeps it dry and free of chips.
