Want to celebrate the [2017 Total Solar Eclipse](https://www.space.com/33797-total-solar-eclipse-2017-guide.html) that will sweep coast-to-coast across America? The lucky people who can get to the line of totality will see a total eclipse of the sun, and be able to view the sun's corona around the outline of the moon.
Whether you can make it or not, print and wear this simple Total Eclipse pendant in honor of our friends the Sun and the Moon.
This model was made in Tinkercad by extruding an SVG image of a previous solar eclipse, then flattening out the edges of the corona with Paraboloids. Here's a [link](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iRQ8TUogscs-total-eclipse-pendant) to the model that you can pick apart or edit as you like.
For printing on an FDM/filament machine, use the "halves" file to print in two pieces, and then glue together. This will avoid having nasty supports to remove or build plate ahesion problems. On an SLS/powder printer you can just print the full model
