Tourbillon

Creating a spiral in any CAD environment is hardly a challenge in my opinion. Making the spiral move, on the other hand, is slightly more difficult. In this project, an iLogic rule makes the spiral contract and expand as if it were real (nearly). To watch the mechanism moving, open the project (source files are included), click on the iLogic tab, and run Rule0. Upon animation completion, press the Local Update button (orange flash) to reset the mechanism state. Renders and generic CAD files are somewhat boring here. Animating the spring is the primary project value, not so much creating renders and CADs. Needless to say, hairspring is not supported by Design Accelerator. IDE: Autodesk Inventor v.2020
