This is a simple toy I designed for my daughter to take to a class which required her to bring in a drum. It's only a simple design, but if printed right it can actually produce a tone!
The `Shell.stl` and `Cap.stl` are the two most important parts which can both be printed without supports. I recommend printing both with 100% infill, as it's not a thick design, so there won't be much wastage, and any potential tone may be compromised by an abundance of insulating air in the walls.
The `Skin.stl` is what I printed to make this a toy and seems to be strong enough to stand up to the beating of my 3 and 1-year old girls!
If you want to turn this into a **real** drum then use the `SkinRib (optional).stl` instead of the `Skin.stl` and stretch something over it before wedging it between the cap and the shell. My original idea was even just to use packing tape, but a nice bit of leather should work as well.
Finishing it off with some yellow dyed cooking twine was all it took to gi
