This is a quick toy sword I made.
It requires 10 millimeter diameter rod sections as stabilizers. I recommend wood for safety reasons, but aluminium should work as well. This is to make sure that the finished object can withstand actual play. The measurements are:
2x 33 cm
1x 15.5 cm
A few millimeters too shorts works better than the other way around.
The STLs are taken apart in a way that they should print fine. Print the blade sections and the handle parts standing upright and the guard and pommel on their respective flat side.
Supports shouldn't be necessary, the dowel holes should bridge fine.
The completed sword is 51.5 cm in length.
I printed it in ASA, but it warped a bit, which would require filler (Not good for toys…). Thus, I recommend PETG, PLA or similar. Hold everything together using either CA glue or epoxy on the faces, plus some on the rods. You shouldn't have to cover the entirety of the rods, a bit of glue here and there to keep them in positio
