TRAINSTAR 1400 - TAIL SUPPORT
Tail support designed to fix the tail of the "old" Trainstar 1400 (now renamed to Trainstar Tough to be distinguished from the new Trainstar Ascent).
Why?
I've been flying this old Trainstar for around 4 years now, and even knowing it is a tough design, it is not indestructible.
After the first 6 months, this Trainstar needed to be re-trimmed anytime it went up in the air. It took some time to realize the EPO stabilizer started to 'move' in flight, even re-tightening the screws that fix the binding support to the airframe.
- - -
This support will allow you to fix the stab without needing to glue it directly to the fuselage.
There is 3 STLs in this rep. Use the one you feel most comfortable with:
- 4P was the original design. I've been using it all this time with only 2 screws ... (see pictures)
- 2P is a 4P with only 2 fixing points. Go for this one, it makes a good job.
- SLIMMED is nothing but a lighter 2P. This one was success
