Hi there.
This is a work in progress of an idea that born in my mind during a car commuting.
The basic idea is simple, i want to try to build various kind of activable trap door for dungeon tiles.
the first result is this one, the shield could rotate and activate a lock on the door, the door and the basament have both place for magnets (i use the 1mmx5mm) and placing on opposite side force the door will open as soon as the pinion move thanks to the gear activated by the shield.
So, you can glue it on a 4x1 openlock base and add to your dungeon!
As i said at the start, this is a big wip, i mean, the pieces are all printable (i printed them making some versions) BUT there are work to be done at the moment:
- the pivoting pole of the trap door appear weak and need to be strenghted,
- to let the pieces connect, some sanding is required
- the trap door itself, need to be sanded on the pivoting side, i will (probably next week) redesign it with reduced attrition zone on the
