You can tape it on the back face or the top face.
A single sided and a double sided variation.
I provided the step files as well if you want to add holes for a screw version.

I made a simulation on fusion360, the double sided one should hold up to around 2kg on each sides ( on the screenshot the forces were set to 25N).
