Trash / Garbage Can Hinge Pin

A Hinge Pin for a trash can lid. This one was made to replicate a broken one found on a Rehrig Pacific Company trash can, but looks just like others for other brands of trash can. I have no reason to believe this one is any better or worse than others available here or on Printables.com, but I've included a cadquery file if you want to modify it.

8/2/2024 update: I made this for a family member and it inserted perfectly and has worked with no problems.

10/30/2024 update: The original one disappeared from the trash can that it was used in. The lid on that can is deformed a little, so I think there are some forces that push out the pin. It could also have broken, but I don't know. In an attempt to fix these possibilities, I made one that is a little thicker (stronger) and the 'wing' / retaining wedge a little wider to make it less likely to slide out.
