Tree

A tree is a tall, woody plant that usually has a single strong trunk and many branches spreading out from it. Trees are one of the most important parts of nature and are found all over the world.
The trunk of a tree is thick and hard, giving support and helping the tree stand upright. From the trunk grow branches, which spread in different directions and hold the leaves. The leaves are usually green and play an important role in making food for the tree through a process called Photosynthesis.
Trees have roots that grow deep into the soil. These roots absorb water and nutrients and also keep the tree firmly fixed in the ground. Some trees also produce flowers and fruits, which help in reproduction.
