This is a trem stopper for a guitar equipped with a floating tremolo bridge. This device simply “stops” the action of pulling up on the tremolo bar, making the strings sharper in pitch. This also increases tuning stability. For example, breaking a string will not cause the other 5 to go out of tune and palm muting the strings near the bridge will not cause the notes to pull sharp.The hardware required is an M4x6x6 or similar heat set insert, an M4 Set Screw or Bolt long enough to be fully threaded into the insert and nut while sticking out on both ends, an M4 Nut, and a Wood Screw that has a head 3mm or greater in diameter and 10mm-15mm in length. Fine threads are preferred as to not seriously tear into the tonewood of the guitar. In the photos, I printed a basic M4 nut simply because I did not feel like driving 20 minutes to the hardware store to get one, and the screw I used was a retaining screw from an old set of guitar tuners that I previously replaced.I tried to make this model a
