This wheel is designed to help automated rescue robots traverse emergency areas with ease. Alternating between wheel rotation and triangle assembly rotation this model should be able to cross over the intact ground and large debris. This apparatus works by utilizing the custom transmission at its core. The transmission, rather than change speed-torque ratio, switches what is being turned. It accomplishes that task by initially powering the lower two wheels. Followed by withdrawing the axles powering those wheels. Followed by flipping the big triangle until desired. While flipping the large arms crawl over fallen debris. Whichever two wheels are on the ground have the axles put back into them. The assembly can then drive on flat ground again.
