I wanted a ring light for better facial lighting. Since I have a 3d printer I decided to make my own rather than buy one. Here it is:

Parts List:
- 12v LED strip - http://a.co/fbHSTA4
- 9v battery with connector
- Switch - http://a.co/9NoQxi3
- number 8 Screw w/ 2 nuts
- Soldering equipment
- Heat shrink tubing or Electrical tape
- Super glue
- 3D printed parts - https://cad.onshape.com/documents/b16b4bc1f1998f6d4070489c/w/dd39a70f7483493c4cf53a4d/e/e1741fed1e90d5fb6f279f53
-Base
-Lid
-Ring
-Knob
-Lens - Clear

Steps:
1. Feed the wires from the LEDs through the hole in the back of the Ring
2. Peel the backing off the adhesive on the LEDs and stick them to the Ring
3. Pinch and bend the lights at every corner
4. Snap the Lens onto the Ring
5. Thread one Nut all the way to the head of the Screw and super glue it there
6. Fit the Screw into the Knob so the Nut locks into the hex shaped end
7. Slide the other Nut into the slot in the Base
8. Thread
