Tripod for bottles

Tripod for phone and/or tablet for use on a bottle.

Take the cap of any soda/water/whatever bottle and attach, and your tripod is ready!


Things needed:
1 x M5 bolt 25-40mm long
1 x M5 nut
3 x M8 nut
1 x M8 threaded rod. (120mm long for phone in landscape mode.)

Tap M8 for attaching the threaded rod. (Hole is 6.8mm, standard for M8.)

You can use it with less than 3 x M8 nuts, but it's easier to get a good grip with all three.

Easy and stable as long as there's something in the bottle.
As there are integrated threads for the bottle cap it's recommended to have a small layer height, I use 0.12mm but depending on printer you can go higher.

All holes for nuts are just undersized, made for assembly with a solder iron or just press with a wise or similar.

Disclaimer - The cap will not stop water from leaking out of a bottle. It will slow the flow down, but not stop it from flowing out.
