This shade is designed to work with the MiniPivot connector (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5866393) and 3/8" hardwood dowel.
Much brighter than the single strip version (see LiteBar https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5868712) the three strip version is a little trickier to wire but worth the effort. My method (which by no means should be considered the best way) was to alternate the polarity of the strips so that the adjacent contacts can be bridged with short uninsulated wires.. The CoverPlate and EndCap do a pretty good job of hiding the electrics. Note that the CoverPlate is a compression fit (pin in a socket) so make sure your circuit is functional before installing it. It is unlikely to survive disassembly. The EndCap seems content to stay put on its own, but a drop of CA (super glue) is advised for permanence.
I used 30 AWG solid wire for the jumpers. I found it far neater and easier to use than stranded wire. See the pictures for a wiring scheme.
