Original construction of cheap chinese printer tronxy 5 use only 1 z axis. this can create big vibration even with standard printing speeds. Second z axis completely removes this problem.
In fact, this second axis can by used as replacement for original axis as well. I have removed original aluminium rods from table and used cheap aluminium profile 20x20x2mm and 40x3mm.
You will need simple tools for drilling and cutting aluminium parts. including drills up to 10mm.
Some parts you can buy from local reprap store or from china (mine was from ali).
Linear rods and trapezoidal part needs to be cut little bit (or ordered with precise size). i have done it with minidrill (just cost little bit time) and "flex" cutter.
Printed parts are from ABS or PETG.
Used 2x Tr8x8 leads to problems with uniform Z position, expecially after pinted piece removal. This means u need corect it before next print manually (easy to do but may be annoying) replace them for tr8x2 and upgrade FW can remove
