**This is a very easy light you can make using a Harbor freight LED** flashlight that regularly goes for free with a coupon. Harbor freight runs constant coupon ads, and consistently marks this light free with a purchase. There's also a switch, and a couple 5mm LEDs that you can scavenge from the light.
I used the 66x10mm LED light that's inside this cheap flashlight. It works great wired directly to the Traxxas #8028 LED power supply.

I had a hard time actually finding the exact LED for purchase separately. But it's possible you may find one for less than $1 somewhere online.
Place the LED onto the base, running the wires into the channel. (Do your soldering first)
Use 2x 2x5mm Self tapping screws to hold the cap down on top of the LED
Remove the stock front bumper.
Use 2x 3x12mm Screws to bolt the base into the Bumper tray.
