Turbo Whistle Rotor – Air/Bearing -Driven This is an experimental air-powered turbo whistle that simulates the iconic spool sound of a turbocharger using a freely rotating rotor on a bearing. Designed for fun or airflow experiments, it uses a high-speed spinning impeller to produce a sharp whistling sound when air is forced through the housing. Firmly press the center of the housing after aligning both halves to unsure a secure fit. The current version features: A rotor supported on a central bearing (608zz or maybe try a 3d printed bearing?)Modular parts designed for easy 3D printing 💡 Pro Tip – Lubricate the Bearing!Lubricating the central bearing makes a huge difference in performance. I used WD-40, and it worked excellently for initial testing. However, for longer use or higher RPMs, a dedicated bearing oil or PTFE/silicone-based lubricant is recommended to reduce friction and noise while boosting spin speed. Planned Improvements:A future version will incorporate the Venturi effec
