Turntable Weight

Vinyl records will sound better when some weight is applied to it.It will minimize any wobble in the record (to a certain degree…) and this will minimize the unintended vertical movement of the needle.Especially with belt driven turntables the extra weight will minimize speed fluctuations provided that the applied weight is correctly centered.
