TV Remote

With the new advances in technology every day it seems like everything is being improved. Everything except for one item most people use every morning when the wake up. The remote control was first invented in 1950 and since then it hasn’t had many changes to it. With today’s technology you would expect it to be voice activate or a smart phone app. The current television remote control needs to be redesigned to be more compact and hand held. The current box shape will be redesigned into a more round oval shape that is comfortable in your hand. It will have a touch screen on it that you can do multiple things on. The only buttons on it will be: on, off, volume, and channel. The numbers will be on the touchscreen. The minimal buttons and touch screen will make it more compact and hand held. It will be made out of an inexpensive ABS plastic material. Besides the general controls it will also have a tracking/noise making feature for when you cannot find the remote control. This will revolutionize and completely change the way we think of television remotes.
