Twisted Pentagon Passthrough

I’ve always liked those spiral passthrough fidgets where the inner core slides smoothly through the outer shell, so I decided to design my own version as a learning project. I wanted something simple, satisfying, and clean. And I’m really happy with how this one turned out. The idea is straightforward: the spiral core passes completely through the outer body. As you push it through, it twists and follows the internal shape, creating a smooth and continuous motion. It’s one of those movements that’s hard to explain but very satisfying once you try it. The model stands about 6 cm tall (roughly 2.25 inches). It prints without supports and works well in standard PLA. If your tolerances are tight, slightly scaling it up can help with smoother motion depending on your printer. If you end up printing it, I’d love to see your makes.
