Two-Tone and Deeper Cable Chain

I recently installed a Noctua fan in the hotend of my Ender 3, in a way that added the bulk of a couple of connectors and a couple of knife splices to the wire harness between the extruder bracket and the hot end. At that point, the harness no longer fit inside the Ender 3 cable chain by johnniewhiskey.
I really liked that chain, and I wanted to reuse the attachments at both ends, so I pulled johnniewhiskey's STL file into Fusion360 and modified the link to be deep enough to enclose my new bulkier harness.
I tried printing the whole thing in silky green PLA, but it was so brittle that building the chain was like working with potato chips (they kept snapping). The solution I adopted was to keep and reuse the green links, but to print the links themselves in Black PETG and to Krazy glue small silky green tops onto each link. I even made a small jig to help center the top onto its link, while I glued it.
