Type A Far Trader

This is a model of a type A Far Trader from the Travel Role Playing game. The large number of parts that make up this model are cut in such a way to minimize part overhang with the goal of maximizing print quality.

I've printed versions at 1x (about 48mm x 16mm). Printing at 2x will improve the visibility of the finer details.

I've printed on a Snapmaker 2.0 A250. My brother has printed on a Bambu Carbon X1 with good success using PLA as well. The photographs are of his print at 2x scale.

The top vents and landing gear struts print reasonably when printed at 5x scale. The struts are too small to print reasonably even at 4x scale with either the Bambo or Snapmaker. Some improvement in print quality has been seen by printing the hull parts with nose up rather than with cut plane aligned with horizontal plane.

The mountain tile in the photograph is an asset from the graven-guild.
