Because we all have something to clip but the clip never has the correct size.
This is an openscad file to generate a clip that fits foils and so on .
Adjust the four parameters to fit the thing(s) you want to clip.
Example:
ClipInnerWidth = 34
ClipInnerHight = 30
ClipThickiness = 5
ClipHigh = 20
