Ukulele tuners - Model 3

This is the third iteration of my ukulele tuners. This new version has a number of improvements.Only two, #2 3/8 inch screws are needed per tuner, instead of 4 required for the model 2. The equivalent metric screw is M2x8mm.Reduced backlashA new, easier to print, tuner knob (button) is included in addition to the older style.Separate tuner knobs and worm gear files are included as well as a part with knob and worm gear together to print as a single partA little bit smaller volumeLike the Model 2, these are substantially stronger than my original version.Updated 2-9-2025 : I have added a version of the worm gear with a hole in it for inserting a 2 mm carbon fiber rod, for added strength when the ukulele accidentally gets dropped :) The video below is a sound demo for my new soprano guitalele and includes instructions on installing the model 3 tuners.
