Print tall (on end) with the skinny end of the screw holes pointing down.
The template can be used to mark your screw holes.
It can be mounted plumb vertically, or put at an angle.
The stand off on the side is a knuckle saver when you draw your weapon.
Mount with #8 wood screws (see picture).
