Ultimate Filament Clip - Polymaker Spools

Mount to the right side of spool (when in AMS) to avoid collision with AMS guides on the left. Works perfect on the right side. This is the Polymaker variant of my Ultimate Filament Clip which was originally designed for Bambulab spools. Compatible with AMS. For Polymaker spools there are two versions: (from the spools I had, let me know if there is more)the “smaller hole” has about 5 mm inner diameter.the "larger hole” has about 6.5 mm inner diameter. Slicing:0.2 mm layers are fine, recommend 4 perimeters and >30% infill. No supports, channel is easily bridged. Design Idea:The Zig-Zag filament mount made the difference for me. You can push the filament in from the side or “click” it in from the top. Since the channel is wider than the filament, it takes only little effort. Due to the Zig-Zag it is held in place firmly nontheless.
