This design encompasses a dust filter system, as well as allowing your filament to go from the spool to the extruder virtually unexposed to air! Used in conjunction with a dry box (I use this one - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:743280), this will increase the life of your filament, and improve print quality by keeping the plastic fresh, and minimising defects during printing due to dust particles (sometime present prior to purchase). There's also a handy storage space for your allen keys!

This requires less than $10 of external parts, and prints easily using ABS. The dry box also cost less than $10 to build.

External parts required (all bought easily from eBay):

- 6mm 1/8BSP Male Thread Quick Air Fitting Coupler Connectors: 4 required for this part, at least another 2 (recommended 4+) for your dry box.
