Update 12/14/18 There is now a new base for the pikachu version of the system, you will also need a couple of 2mm screws to affix the UltraHDMI to the base to keep it from moving.
The UltraHDMI mod for the N64 is a great way to get N64 on a modern television.
The only downside was the dreaded cutting of the shell in order to accommodate the new miniHDMI port. While many people are more than willing to take a knife to their shell, some people would prefer to keep their precious console in perfect cosmetic condition.
The UltraHDMI #NoCutMod consists of two 3d printed parts. One part raises the UltraHDMI board to the correct height in order to clear the back of the bottom shell. The other part replaces the small piece that covers the multiout so that you can set that part aside in the event you want to revert the mod
