Ultraviolet Germicidal light is supposed to remove 98% of germs, think of how many things could live on your sponge and then you clean
your cutting board and knife with it. Just remove the wand from the
stand and wave it over the cleaned cutting board and knife
then put the wand back on the stand the sponge in the sponge holder
and zap that too.
