Always looking for pens? Why not keep them in a handy drawer out of sight!
I saw a similar version of this, but it used a support that spanned all of the way across the drawer - unnecessary in my opinion. Also, I designed the tray compartments for pens, my solar calculator, post-its and USB/SD cards.
The tray can be hidden under the desk, but I chose to leave it visible, under my Printer table.
The two supports (Left and Right) have 3 holes each, but I didn't need to put a screw into the middle hole as it was sturdy enough. The right-hand support is slotted to give some adjustment, but I didn't need it.
The head of the outside screws stop the tray coming out completely, if the tray is tipped down.
