Underneath Hook

The requirement was to be able to hook something underneath, literally under the surface. Most common hooks are designed to mount on the wall (vertical mount). Once you put the hook underneath (horizontal mount), everything falls down.

The proposed solution solves two problems, to hold the stuff properly and to be strong enough from the perspective of layers.
