When I started to organize my cables with the amazing Underware project, I figured out there is no good way to deal with long cables. The suggested solution is to use the ugly hooks to spin the long cables on them so they become even more ugly. Inspired by the solution created by lovebug356, I created my own fully customizable version from scratch. The size may be set to any number of OpenGrid slots. You may do it even 1 slot size (but usually you need two parts, so it will be 2x1 in the final). In my setup I found these sizes most useful:2 pieces 2x2 placed with a 1-2 slot gap are good for most of the power cords.2 pieces 3x2 placed with a 2 slot gap are good for thick power cords (usually used for power strips and monitors).2 pieces 2x1 placed together work well for most USB cables.
