From the original author:SummaryAn Earbud Holder to keep your earbud cables neat and tangle free, designed to fit all sizes and styles of in-the-ear earbuds including those with mikes as used on the iPhone with either jacks or lightening connectors.InstructionsFor earbuds without mikes, drop the earbuds in the recesses and start wrapping the cable by bringing it down and under the lip, wrap it to the right, then up again, catching it in the upper slot, then over the buds and down through the opposite slot. Hold the spooler and wrap the cable until the jack is close to the keeper and insert it into the hole, then roll the loose cable over the bottom lip into the farthest slot, adjusting the wrap to be tighter or looser as necessary. For earbuds with a control module on the cord, start wrapping the cable by bringing it down and under the bottom through lower slots. Bring the cord across then back up through the opposite bottom slot as shown. Lay the mike across the bottom and bring the cord back up and over the top to trap the earbuds. Then down and into the reel to continue wrapping the cord until it can be inserted into the keeper, and roll the loose cable over the bottom lip into the farthest slot, adjusting the wrap to be tighter or looser as necessary. (See the photos.)The process sounds more complex than it is in practice and it quickly becomes habitual.
