Universal Filament Spool Holder

Another universal filament spool holder/axis shaft. This one will fit most 1kg and some 3kg spools. Print 2 cones, 2 extensions, and one threaded shaft. On my CoreXY machine they all print upright with no supports- it may be different with a bed slinger... I printed both the shaft extensions and threaded shaft with 1 layer raft. The threaded shaft has a .004" 'onion skin' at the bottom (over the hole for the shaft extension) to give it just a little bit more to adhere to the build plate. Simply cut the 'hole' out of that onion skin with an Exacto knife, then gently press/tap the extensions into the ends of the threaded shaft.
