Universal (small) Camera AR Drone 1.0 Mount

This is a mount for most small cameras that fits the AR Drone 1.0. I use a SWANN Freestyle Camera but most of the mounts out there are only for the GoPro brand. I left several gaps to mount your camera on. You will need a 1/4-20 (1/4" diameter, 20 threads per inch) screw and maybe a washer or 2 to actually fasten the camera on with.

Of course the added weight will shorten your flight time but it is well worth it to get the 1080p footage without having to buy the 2.0 drone. Also my Tablet has a bad habit of not recording and saving every now and then so this solves that too.

At this time i want to add a little length to the bottom of the arms to better fit the screw that needs to be added but at this time it flies great.

And thanks to Makerware Preview> It will print in about 3.5 hours on low resolution with PLA.

UPDATE: In this version my SWANN either weighs to much or is out of balance. Also i made the pins a little to long. I really want this to work so look for updates
