I needed a way to mount my usb port since the cable was short and would pull it off of my desk. It fits this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JX1ZS5O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) hub and also the usb 2.0 and powered variants.
