This is a two part enclosure for the USB AVR programmer. In addition to the connection slot at the back for the pin headers, this version has 2 slots on the top half for connecting female 0.1" pin header connectors without removing the top cover. Its better to use a semi-transparent filament so that the LEDs on the pcb are visible.
