This is a collar I created to pass a USB cord through a tabletop without leaving a giant hole in the surface. A 5/8" hole will just allow the flat USB connector to pass through, then the two halves of this collar can be pressed around the cord itself and the collar screwed into place.
The holes are wide enough for #6 screws. I used pan head screws on this one rather than a recessed hole, because the recessed screw holes take up more surface area and I wanted to keep the collar as small as possible.
