When using my barcode scanner outside the office, I usually rely on a USB extension cable. A common issue is that the extension cable and the scanner cable easily disconnect when moved. To solve this, I designed this adapter pair. Since the dimensions of USB device connectors and extension cables vary greatly, the required screw length may differ. In some cases, the female end of the extension cable might not fit inside the adapter. Both parts include a 17 mm × 23 mm × 9 mm opening, so please check the dimensions of your cable ends before printing.
