Made a lamp with USB input.
Used a XL6009 board and a micro USB breakout inside and soldered the GU5.3 12V lamp to it. See for example these parts:

I use that lamp for assembly of earrings I print with my printer, and sometimes I need a spotlight - but I don't have an AC plug near the place where I assemble it. So I use a USB powerbank with that lamp now :). Also good for camping.
I used a lighter to "glue" PLA-printed parts together after assembly, so I cannot open it anymore - but that is fine for me. If it breaks, I need to crack-open and reprint it.
