Hello,
Here is my first project using the hot wind created by a heat source.
As the heat of a light bulb in this case.
I use two cylindrical magnets Neodymium 6mm diameter x 10mm to keep levitating the propeller.
A magnet is on the support and another one on the propeller with identical poles opposed.
(You can fix the magnets with a little epoxy glue)
The strength of the hot wind is very light so this is an effective way to reduce friction.
You can then hang a sheet of paper that is attached around the propeller (With tape) with all the patterns that we imagine to create play of shadows on the walls.
I have not printed yet, so it's possible that I slightly modified the parts. (may be slightly to change the spacing between the magnets)
At first, I think using drawings made by my daughter but I'm working on several versions of thin cylinders made with PLA with different patterns.
I modeled all the parts so that they are printed on my little printer (micro delta
