Overhang Test – 45°-80°Quick + Cheap overhang test! – 17 minutes / 2.48 gramsPRINT WITHOUT SUPPORTS!!The point of this test is to find your printer's threshold angle. Threshold angle is what angle your printer generates supports at, so figuring it out will save you a lot of filament, or print quality. Keep in mind, threshold angle is only for 3D printing with supports Enabled. Where to find threshold angle setting:How to find threshold angle:After printing, find the largest angle that looks good (no heavy stringing or sagging, use your judgement). After you figure out which one is optimal, refer to this table:60°→Threshold angle = 3070°→Threshold angle = 2080°→Threshold angle = 10If there is an in-between area, like for example 60° looks great and 70° looks okay, but not necassarily bad, then do 25 as your threshold angle. or if its between 70° and 80° then do 15.If even 60° looks bad, make your threshold angle 50° or 55°.
