USS San Antonio

The USS San Antonio (LPD-17) is a Landing Platform Dock designed for the US Navy. It is the first of 13 being commissioned in January 2006 and remaining in service as of the date this model was made. The purpose for this boat is to transport the Marines as well as there vehicles and equipment to different locations. This Model contains several features found on the actual boat including a cluster of boats in a compartment on top, a hanger door on the back, as well as a door on the side for launching smaller watercraft. The scale for this model is 1/1000 and requires no glue to assemble.
