The USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) is the first ship in its class being commissioned in 2016. It is a Guided Missile Destroyer with stealth abilities giving it the radar cross-section of a fishing boat. Despite having issues with its powerplant it will be outfitted with hypersonic missiles. It will begin testing with them sometime in 2027 or 2028.
