V Block Assembly

A V Block Assembly is a clamping device primarily used in machining and metrology to securely hold cylindrical workpieces in place. It consists of a V-shaped block with clamps or straps to fix the workpiece. Components of a V Block Assembly: V Block – Made of hardened steel or cast iron, with a 90° V-groove to support cylindrical parts. Clamping Strap – A plate or clamp to securely hold the workpiece against the V-groove. Flat Base – Allows stable placement on an inspection table or machine tool.
