This is a guide to fix the RTL-SDR V-dipole at 120 degrees, for optimal RF characteristics, especially when receiving NOAA/Meteor satellite signals. There is a flat version, and a version with lobes intended to fit a standard flat compass to help orient the dipoles north/south. Both print fine without supports.
The compass mount is designed for a compass 4mm tall with a beveled bottom edge, like most flat pack compasses.
Additionally, there is guide for reflectors (seen in the second picture) that snaps on to 2" PVC and friction fits 1/8" metal rods. When placed on the PVC 50cm below the V dipole, signal is improved.
